Examinees'/Qualifiers' Personal Information Policy
PostgreSQL holds and uses examinees' and certified qualifiers'
personal information according to the following policy.

PostgreSQL CE, therefore, complies with SRA's Personal Information Policy.
Specific Rules for the Personal Information Usage
Complying with the basic personal information policy set by SRA
Inc., we lay down specific rules as follows. These rules are subject to
change,
but not deviating from the basic personal information policy, without a
previous notice.
- (1) Exam registration information
- To take PostgreSQL
CE, an examinee must register at Pearson VUE. The information entered
at the time of registration, and only information of those
who passed the exam, and those who agreed to receive advertisements of
PostgreSQL, is maintained by PostgreSQL CE office. The information
maintained is used for the purposes of certification registration, and
sending advertisements of PostgreSQL from PostgreSQL CE office or SRA
Inc..
- (2) Exam answers
- PostgreSQL CE office maintains exam answers of those who passed
the exam, and answers without identifiable personal information for
those who failed the exam. The survey answers included at the end of
the exam are also classified as the exam answers. PostgreSQL CE office
will use the information for qualification certification, and for
an analysis research.
- (3) Certification information
- PostgreSQL CE office maintains the information of 'who is
certified for what qualification'. The information includes
registration information described in (1), to identify a specific
examinee. PostgreSQL CE office will use the information to identify a
certain person to issue/reissue a certificate.
